doesn't the parrot just perfectly belong on the wall?  it's like he always had a place here.

...welcome to the family, little (big headed) parrot. he's my newly thrifted wonder and i'm deeply feeling the peculiar detail work and the ball point pen usage. yes, you heard correctly.  the artist, "Eddie", filled some of his feathers in with a ball point pen.  and somehow, i just don't mind it. at least not for $3.99.

Pourchet bag.

This is my new Pourchet bag.  It's from the Goodwill. For seven dollars!  I'm in love.  So elegant, totally timeless, just so French.  It's sitting at home right now begging to be taken out for a croissant. 

New Tumblers.

This pair is my latest thrift love / score.

They are weighty and have a faint blue sheen.   The marking on the bottom says "Jaime Oliver" ... So nice, because each time I use them, I will be reminded of a wonderful meal I ate with friends at a Jaime Oliver restaurant in Oxford, England where we shared a wonderful cheese plate and toasted new love.
