This season is a perfect time to incorporate a little flavor flav into your outfit, without feeling over committed.  You can still layer with your comfy, "known" favorites, while adding something unusual or trendy for punch.  I'm feeling hand dyed stuff right now -- and would love to rock my cowboy boots, black tights, black cardigan and big goofball zirconium earrings with pieces like the ones above.  What are your go-to standards and how can you announce spring in new way with them?

Today marks the first official day of spring.   Yippee & hooray & yes, times one thousand.

DKNY spring fashion show, 2011.  Totally inspiring outfit.  Utterly classic design, not to mention just exquisite shaping on the body. This is a wonderful example of why Donna Karan will always have my allegiance; she gets it.
