Oh my.

Due in less than a week.  It's thrilling, but oh my, the bod is pretty intense...  Like, mind blowing how different I feel -- even day to day.  I guess it's just nature's way of making sure pregnant mommas don't mind getting down & dirty and having their babes, no matter the physical ness of it, when 40 ish wks rolls around.  I hope our girl comes on time.  I am ready to meet her, ready to nuzzle & feel delirious & love sick (without some of this BODY in la way) ... more lata.

mellow weekend

salted caramel on a rainy Saturday night.

i think i slept about thirty hours this weekend.

a radiant David

expensive hair bands.

D tried to get a "belly" shot on our breakfast date.  I was too lazy to stand up for it, so it's a half way taken shot, but some what shows it .... I really feel a difference now.  It's a baby belly, for sure.

In focus.  oops, had no idea shirt was see through.  thanks mister husband for never telling me this, all the three year or so years I've owned it.

important research on my new fav subject:  children's books.  btw, this book is to die for.

completely wonderful for a little one...  i wish i had written the adult fiction version.

we are with bebe !!! and summer time highlights. and welcome to fall.

Truly. Truly & Yes. that's the big news in ash ville. we are expecting a baby in Feburary & I could not be more thrilled. I'll speak for David and say he's thrilled too. Not sure what happened to Right Now Love blog this summer -- but I'm back for some fall-inspired thoughts on everything from the right tights & boots to Weleda wild rose body oil to dressing the body in pregnancy & making crepes suzette. This summer was easy feeling and filled with good times with my sistah, many memorable meals (some where we got to announce we're expecting!), and lots and lots of cold sparkling water or raspberry-hips iced tea.    EXCITED for the autumn, ash

beautiful dinner on Hiltner's deck.  Dave toasted to our unborn kiddo while wearing a bright orange shawl & Joleen cried happy tears.  fun night.

this was my plate before salad.   ...I posted this pic just to say -- wow, food stylists are right when they say add some color to the plate.  my meals looks lonely for some greens or red beets.

I really like a plaid shirt on a woman who is serving food.  It's confident & crispy.

right now love.

bros in law.

Lavender festival in Sequim Washington.   So yum.

The little star.  This was from about a month ago.  You can guess how often I stare at the little profile.  Oh my.

dave & tyler playing with big stick.  whidbey island.

whidbey island glamour shot.

laundry bag from Urban that I'm still swoony for.  It's grey & petal like & makes laundy so much nicer to deal with.  Thank you E!!!

Incredible dinner food by Dan Drozd.  (Mayan's fiancee!!!  Whooo hoo.)  He really knows how to salt his salad.  And gravy his chicken.   I totally approve.

Dining beauty.

Figs are maybe the very best thing about summer.  Ok, just the best.  Period.

Eola Hills wines from Oregon.  Totally delish.  Especially when poured with fam on the patio.

Bright & big salad.

Analyzing how long is too long.  I figure with enough layers, I will just go & go ...

summer lovin' sort of table

This was an out of control dessert.  Out of control.  The whole meal was, actually.  Def my fav "romantic' night of the summer -- at a random chi chi spot that Dave & I stumbled into with good luck.  The dessert was a frozen chocolate glace with a homemade cherry marshmallow.

Sweaty but still sort of smiling --- Colorado half marathon with the family.  Obviously my intense competitive ness was in full effect as I posed for a pic on the half way point... ;)

Lincoln City, Oregon.

i think this is the grin of a man who's having a bebe.  if you ask me.

blue & purples on Joleen's deck.

Rach in Lincoln City, Oregon.

Happy tired eyes.

Fujiwara lovin'

Mayan took me out for my birthday to Dahlia Lounge.  We sat at the bar & acted provacative.

Lyza putting finishing touches on the green beans.

Pregnant friends.

Peach pie.
